This Sunday marked the 25th anniversary of one of the most talked about events of the English social calendar: the Cartier International Polo at the renown Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park.
With a guest count of nearly 30,000, the list is well managed with a private tent reserved to the friends of Cartier. “It’s our 25th anniversary, so we want to make it even more special,” says Arnaud Bamberger, managing director of Cartier UK. Guests at this year’s Cartier International Polo included Prince Charles, Anna Friel, Neve Campbell, Amber Le Bon and many others.
England was defeated 12-5 by Argentina, the visiting team lead by world leading polo player Adolfa Cambiaso.
Guests from previous years included Pierce Brosnan, Emma Watson, Dita Von Teese, Natalie Imbruglia and Kelly Brook.
The Chinawhite enclosure through the day and night is now firmly established as the party of the summer. The legendary Chinawhite evening party commences at 6pm until late in the evening.
Cartier’s highly exclusive polos are not just happening in the UK, and the brand has been celebrating this year the 25th anniversary of the Cartier Polo World Cup on Snow on the frozen lake of St Moritz as well as the Cartier Polo Dubai, which has celebrated its 4th anniversary this year.
