Kenzo on Acid, for Fall 2009

Looking at the new delicious Kenzo ads, I can’t help but hear a Beatles song in my head. This is not in any way due to any 60′s influence to the fall/winter 2009 collection, but only because of the “Acidic” feel they contain. The models seem high on something (I’m thinking the fantastique colors throught the outfits has something to do with it) and the graphics certainly add an amount of delirium panache for our sight.

The new campaign was shot by fashion super-photographer Mario Sorrenti, starring Marcel Castenmiller, Magdalena Frackwiak and Guivevere van Seenus, and is in keeping with the same ambience and art direction of the spring/summer 2009 campaign.

The collection, which has an apparent and captivating allusion to the romance of Russian folklore, was designed by creative director Antonio Marras, however the news here is that this is his first attempt at designing the Kenzo Man collection, which is in perfect harmony with the house women’s collection.
