The latest Etro campaign for women, starring Anja Rubik and photographed by Michelangelo DiBattista in Milan.

The collection itself, designed by Veronica Etro (the menswear is designed by her sibling, Kean Etro, and doing an amazing job at that). The women’s collection was said to have been inspired by Byzantium and the Ottoman Empire, managing to add the season’s burnished golds, bronzes, and copper into collection. It also led to detailed neckpieces and belts to evoke the feathers of the angel wings seen in Byzantine icons, and to design spice-tinted prints derived from the patterns of Turkish carpets. All the while accommodating the house’s signature paisley print.

Etro is a true Italian label, completely proud of its heritage and absolutely genius when it comes to fabric combinations and print clashes, no one can do it better than Etro.
