Lara Stone: Fashion’s Voluptuous Beauty

The always amusing photographer Steven Klein, shot the hedonistically beautiful Lara Stone for a twisted yet gorgeous editorial in Vogue Paris, October 2009 issue, paying close attention to Stone’s statuesque figure.

A model that stands out from the rest, her beautiful curves, which remind me of those voluptuous women in classic paintings by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, and her gap teeth, are a definite sign of uniqueness in the fashion universe. She walked the runways of Prada, Dolce&Gabbana, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci (who instrumentally put her on the map). She starred in campaigns for Miu Miu, Dsquared2, Jean-Paul Gaultier and French swimwear brand Eres, and appreared on the cover of W magazine’s August 2009 issue. She’s literally appearing in countless editorials all over the fashion world, from V to Vogue. And I am here to tell you, she is here to stay!
