Yves Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2010: “Natural and Honest Chic”

It is rare to see fashion designer Stefano Pilati play with the natural built-in Yves Saint Laurent aesthetic, for the Spring/Summer 2010 he did. He used the innate ingredient of YSL-chic and mixed it with risky rich-peasantry motifs, disregarding the frivolity of the latter and incorporating it with the standard intellectual looks.

There were hardly any realm of colors besides the signature YSL black, white and beautiful deep grey, but Pilati presented a few pieces with sophisticated hits of pale pink and blue to welcome Spring.

The collection is perfect for the chic (a word often been associated with the French house) working women with simple-summery evening numbers that would complete her day, not to mention the usual presentation of the some of the most elegant shoes, in possibly every season.
