For Spring/Summer 2010, the Balmain women’s collection declared: military was in, military was glamorous. And to that’s what the January 2010 issue of in-house favorite, Dazed & Confused also proclaimed.
Model Patrick Meckelburg, photographed by William Selden and styled in “military greens, metallic camouflage and bolts of colour” by Robbie Spencer. What is truly interesting is the mixing and matching of many pieces that have no connection with the military look, yet with great styling, unabashed wit, and the right amount of really interesting accessories, it all seemed to come together perfectly, with a sense of irony and edgy chic.
