For the Fall/Winter 2010 season, the Versace man will be geared and ready in a futuristic uniform of leather pants and biker jackets to take on the world. The collection (along with the runway), inspired by the cult 80s film “Tron“, the Versace Sci-Fi effect is fantastically infused with the usual rock-glam vibe that is typical of the legendary Italian house. The palette is what is expected; sexy black and silver fused into blue, purple and gray, with the occasional laser beams prints.
Donatella Versace’s decision to hire Alexandre Plokhov marked a return to form era for the Versace men collections. Plokhov helped bring a healthy dose of typical futuristic Versace glam to the collections, while remaining on trend; the Versace way.
