For the Fall/Winter 2010 season, favorite designer Alexander Wang decided to be a bit stricter in tailoring than usual. He took inspiration from what the women of Wall Street wear (the two piece suit, penstripes, the chunky pumps), and because this is Alexander Wang, he decided to mix it up with a complete contrast, the Gypsy style (drapes, velvet). As a result you have something incredibly unique that cannot be identified. In this great sartorial process, both inspirations blended in so well that the original form of it almost disappeared.
I very much love the office/briefcase looking clutches.
