Chivas Chivalry Badge: Nominate your Facebook friends who truly Live With Chivalry!

In preparation for my exciting role as Chivas Chivalry Expert at the 63rd annual Festival de Cannes this month, I will be on a mission with Chivas to bring Chivalry back into the spotlight at the world’s most prestigious film festival. Those of you who have already joined Chivas’ global Live With Chivalry movement can now take the next step in advocating the values of modern-day chivalry through your closest friends, by sending them a personalised Chivas Chivalry Badge directly to their Facebook profile page. You’ll need to share your very own Tale of Chivalry about each friend explaining why they merit the honour.

Nominations will officially close on June 15, 2010 (link: http://apps.facebook.com/livewithchivalry/ note: not available in France), at which time I will select the most compelling story about a chivalrous nominee, who will receive the chance of a lifetime to experience the glamour and excitement of the Festival de Cannes, along with the person of their choice, in 2011.

As you know, as the festival’s Official Partner, Chivas has given me VIP access to report live from the Croisette, seeking out the most chivalrous moments on the red carpet and behind the scenes, from 12-23 May. Join me in supporting the Live With Chivalry movement and discover Chivas’ exclusive Chivalry Tales on SQUA.RE, as retold by seasoned professionals from Festivals past. So far, we have heard never-before-told tales about film stars such as Clint Eastwood and Sean Penn living with chivalry at Cannes Film Festivals over the years. Stay tuned to SQUA.RE as more Tales of Chivalry are unveiled leading up to and throughout the festival.
