In the latest July 2010 issue of Vogue US, legendary photographer Peter Lindbergh and legendary stylist Grace Coddington give us a cinematic editorial of an American 1950s marriage gone wrong. Starring Natlia Vodianova and actor Ewan McGregor in a picture perfect ideal marriage on the outside, yet both are struggling with to keep their marriage going, in all the best that Fall 2010 collections have to offer of course!
Photographer Peter Lindbergh captures a rare intimacy, even when the models are surrounded by their kids or together, there seems to be a glimpse of loneliness and solitude, a hint the “marriage” is in fact, not working. The editorial is quite reminiscent of a great film starring Julian Moore and Dennis Quaid, “Far From Heaven”.
