At SQUA.RE we keep our eyes open for new luxury and style initiatives around the globe. To kick off Africa Fashion Week in Johannesburg, South Africa last week, Belvedere Vodka joined forces with AFI for a glamorous VIP Launch Party held at the Sandton Convention Centre on Tuesday the 29th of June.
It was an evening of Artistic Luxury and the Belvedere was flowing while the Fashion Week designers celebrated with fellow fashionistas and celebs in their exclusive Belvedere Lounges. Celebrities who attended the glamorous event include the ever-stylish Jeannie D, Claudia Henkel, the 5-months pregnant Lee-Ann Liebenberg and her new hubby to be, Nicky van der Walt, Noni Gasa and the usual fashion crowd.
Africa Fashion Week, which took place at the Sandton Convention centre between 30 June and 3 July this year, was an astounding success. The four day event featured over 30 renowned African designers such as Abigail Betz, Marianne Fassler, David Tlale, Heni, Kluk CGDT and Stoned Cherrie, who showcased their 2010 seasonal collections in high style.
