Arnold Mesches: A Life’s Work

Feb 20 – May 4 Tuesdays–Saturdays (noon–5pm) @ The Miami Dade College (MDC) Museum of Art + Design (MOAD) When Bronx-born artist Arnold Mesches noticed that his paintings responding to the Rosenberg trial in the ’50s were stolen from his studio, he was quite certain it was the FBI. Eventually, in 2001, Mesches got access to his FBI files and it turned out they had almost 800 pages covering 1945 to 1972 (anything from his protest activity to his personal life).
