Raf Simons never fails to impress the fashion world with his ideas for minimal futuristic elegance and devoted attention to cuts and details. For the Jil Sander Fall/Winter 2010 men’s collection, Raf Simons presented a softer side to his usual tailoring, with monochromatic patches squattered over a seamless wave of black, gray and clay colours.
I am particularly fond of the short coats, particularly they black and gray ones, the way the patches cover the buttons is just fantastic. They seem meticulously located and not at random, which is very Jil Sander/Raf Simons, which, I absolutely adore. And the white shirt with the gray patch is flawless.
