Givenchy Spring/Summer 2011 Men’s Collection: “Victorian Circus”

The immensely great Riccardo Tisci explored a wilder side of the Givenchy man for his Spring/Summer 2011 collection, a juxtapose of elements un- orthodoxically explored together, crisp white shirts with wild leopard prints, delicate lace shirts with animal prints, tailored suits with beautiful dungeon masks, wild prints on leather oxford shoes. And because this is a Tisci collection, there has to be Catholic references, such as the crosses and thorn like necklaces. I truly believe that Riccardo Tisci re-invented the Givenchy man so superbly as if he did not exist before him.
