Millions of Kidde-brand smoke and CO alarms recalled NEW YORK ( WPIX ) — Millions of dual smoke-CO alarms are being recalled because they may fail to warn users that their batteries have reached their limit, making users think — incorrectly — that the detectors still work. Kidde NightHawk issued the recall Thursday of its combination smoke/carbon monoxide alarm with model number KN-COSM-IB.
