Highlights included a stunning cameo from outré Los Angeles performance artist Actually Huizenga during album opener “Listen to the Grrrls”; an arresting girl group moment in “Growing” from neo-drag superstars Alexis Blair Penney, Colin Self, and Mykki Blanco; and a flirtatious duet with Sky Ferreira on the bubbly and up-tempo “Psy-chic.” Never one to let his punk ethos fly the browser window, Critcheloe donned a Peggy Noland ensemble covered in mall punk patches to hybridize Ke$ha’s “We R Who We R” with The Misfits, culminating the medley with SSION’s fan favorite “Day Job”
