Next summer better be sunny around the world, to complement a great Spring/Summer 2012 Women’s Collection. The wardrobe is full of prints and colours with green, blue and yellow making appearances all over. The casual-yet-chic sporty styles of Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs will surely be a hit. The prints resemble a botanic garden, from […]
A trip down memory lane today had me thinking about punk and grunge in the early nineties. Following the spate of designer departures, we at Style.com were remembering one of the nineties’ most trumpeted (after the fact, at least) layoffs: Marc Jacobs’ firing from Perry Ellis, following his grunge-inspired Spring ‘93 collection. Hindsight’s 20/20: Today, Jacobs is near-untouchable, and that particular collection has gone down in history (or is it infamy?) as one with enduring appeal.
Louis Vuitton’s featured leading threesome of Freja Beha Erichsen, Raquel Zimmermann and the legendary Kristen McMenamy, photographed by Steven Miesel look stunning in their boudoir of luscious disco gloss and mesmerizing Orient‐inspired influences from one of Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton’s most truly glamorous collections.

Lavish, ultra colourful, glam are keywords to describe next Spring’s most fabulous collection, with strong seventies, hints of minimalism and Yves Saint Laurent references sited by many designers as fundamental inspirations for the season. Our choices […]
Marc Jacobs abandoned his sense of chic from the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter collection and went on a “camp” trail from China to the African Safari. There were Chinoiserie, animal prints, fringe, lace and not so subtle elements of Art Deco and Art Nouveau, all of that combined with infinity of colours, bold colours. The collection was loud, […]
Despite his fashion conservative-chic moment for Fall, favorite Marc Jacobs goes for a naughty ultra glam moment for his Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Filled with prints, beautiful soft colors, halter dresses and some feminine seventies silhouettes. The entire collection was an ode to playful sheer sexiness of those Studio 54 days, with references to the legendary […]
I love it when magazine dedicate an entire issue for a city, and one of our favorite magazine, V magazine, dedicated their 67th issue to one of our favorite cities, New York, one of the world’s capitals in culture, art, fashion and style. Featuring contemporary iconic New Yorkers dressed in their own uniqueness, with the […]
